At freePads, our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to ensure that every woman has access to essential menstrual hygiene products- for free. We have witnessed first-hand the struggles many women face when they cannot afford sanitary pads, and the profound impact this has on their health, education, and daily lives.

Driven by a passion for social justice we set out to create a solution that would stop people paying for sanitary products once and for all. Our mission is to end the tax on wombs by providing everyone with free sanitary pads every month through your letterbox.

The approximate cost of a sanitary pad subscription is £200 a year - an unacceptable cost to anybody purely for being born with a womb. We have always thought of the injustice that this extra tax presents and we are therefore aiming to end it for everyone. There is no means testing to receive our product - if you need it, you can sign up!
